Real estate in Indian Trail & Stallings
Indian Trail and Stallings are the Union County towns closest to Charlotte — about 20 minutes to Uptown on US-74 and I-485 — with subdivisions built in the last fifteen years, newer townhomes, and a September 2026 median sale price of $450,000 in Indian Trail. Lake Park, Hemby Bridge and Wesley Chapel sit right alongside.
✦ Why this area
What makes Indian Trail work
Indian Trail is the entry point to Union County: you get a yard and a newer home inside the Union County Public Schools district (the assigned school depends on the address) — without the longer drive to Monroe or Waxhaw. Most of what I show here is in established subdivisions off Indian Trail Road, Old Monroe Road and Sardis Church Road, with townhomes and new construction filling in along US-74 for buyers who want something turnkey.
Stallings and Lake Park border Matthews, so a buyer who is priced out of Mecklenburg often finds the same commute and more square footage just across the county line. Many of my Indian Trail buyers work in Matthews, Ballantyne or south Charlotte and wanted a short commute without Mecklenburg prices — that combination is why this corridor keeps growing.
How I work in Indian Trail: I check HOA rules and new-construction incentives before you fall in love with a floor plan, I price from the last 90 days of closed sales in the same subdivision (not the Zillow estimate), and I confirm which NC and lender down payment programs fit the address and your income before we write an offer — all in the language you prefer.

Questions about Indian Trail & Stallings
Is Indian Trail a good fit for a first-time buyer?
Yes. Indian Trail is where many of my Union County first-time buyers close: the NC 1st Home Advantage Down Payment (up to $15,000, subject to qualification) works here, lender-backed grants cover many addresses, and townhomes and older subdivisions keep entry prices below Waxhaw and Weddington. We verify the specific address and your income limits before you make an offer.
How far is Indian Trail from Charlotte?
About 20–25 minutes to Uptown Charlotte via US-74 (Independence Boulevard) or I-485 in normal traffic, 10 minutes to Matthews, and 15 minutes to Monroe. Stallings and Lake Park are even closer to the Mecklenburg line.
Which schools serve a home in Indian Trail?
Indian Trail and Stallings are served by Union County Public Schools. The assigned school depends on the exact address and boundaries can differ street by street, so I'll send you the official assignment for any home you're considering before we write an offer.
Do you help buyers who speak only Spanish?
Every day. I am a native Spanish speaker and I handle the entire process in Spanish — showings, offer, inspection, lender coordination and closing — and I make sure the closing attorney's documents are explained to you before you sign.
